Greetings!

Spring is here, folks! The live oak in the back yard is dropping its leaves by the bushel basket full. The plum tree in the front yard is starting to bloom. Cindy and I have raised the garden bed and planted in early greens. People are enjoying sitting and dining outside again and for many of us, it’s seasonal allergy time again.

This month’s theme is food sensitivity. I remember back in the day, people either didn’t have as many food sensitivities or maybe we had them but they went undiagnosed and so untreated. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were the school sack lunch staple but now many schools have banned peanut products all together because they can cause life threatening allergic reactions in some students.

This month’s issue has several informative articles to help you deal with food sensitivity without just cutting things out of your diet.

With the mild March weather, it’s a great time to enjoy the many things there are to do around the Houston area. Be sure to check out the calendar listings and the event ads in this month’s magazine.
