Rejuvenate Your Mind, Body & Spirit

Whether you are trying to kick a sugar addiction, take charge of your health or weight loss, a detox cleanse might be for you.

It is essential to prepare yourself three to four days prior to beginning your fast. You should begin by eating only fruits, raw and steamed vegetables, and drinking juices, herb teas and smoothies. Before bedtime consume two table spoons of olive oil and herbal laxatives. In the morning, eight ounces of prune juice. I also suggest avoiding potatoes, bananas, all grains, nuts, pasta, meat, dairy and processed food.  For the best results, also eliminate caffeine and alcohol prior to committing to a detox program.

Once you are done with the pre-detox, you are ready to fully reset and refresh. The process begins by consuming lemon water and during the cleanse, you will keep your body hydrated by drinking liquids throughout the day until bedtime. Along with lemon water, you will also consume herbal teas, supplements, organic vegetable juices and a daily vegetable-based soup to encourage the elimination process.

During your detox program, it is important for you to be in an atmosphere free of distractions so you can focus on your relaxation status. You should enhance your detox with yoga, life enhancement classes and spa treatments. Health and wellness classes are informative, enlightening, and therapeutic. Spa treatments can help enhance your overall detoxing experience. Yoga classes open your energy and elevate your spirit by gentle stretching and assuming postures.
